Plan a useful cleanout estimate
Gather the details that affect labor, access, handling, timing, and disposal before the first call.
Contents and volume
List each room and the large items within it. Note loose contents, bagged material, boxes, furniture, appliances, outdoor storage, and anything unusually heavy.
Access and carrying distance
Count floors and stairs. Describe elevators, narrow turns, low headroom, gates, alleys, driveway conditions, parking restrictions, and the distance to the loading point.
Decision pace
Say whether the approved removal items are already separated or whether an authorized person will make decisions during the work. Sorting time changes the scope.
Material exceptions
Identify paint, fuel, chemicals, batteries, cylinders, sharps, medicine, refrigerant appliances, mold, pests, biological material, leaks, and unknown containers. Do not mix them into an ordinary load.
